Natrium Sulphuricum
The most prominent feature of the people of the Natrium Sulphuricum type is their striking incompatibility with anything having to do with water and sea. Living by a river or by a seashore, swimming, rain, changes of weather and high humidity – all make them sick, unhappy and depressed.
Eating seafood and fish, or just watery vegetables and fruits, may produce indigestion and diarrhea.
These people are silent and sad, inclined to weep – but displaying sudden fits of excitement and hyperactivity. Often, they look tired, listless and flabby, but bed-rest only exacerbates their complaints; like people of the Thuja type, they have multiple papillomas and warts.
Natrium Sulphuricum is used in the treatment of rheumatic diseases, disorders of the respiratory, gastrointestinal and genitourinary tracts, chronic diseases of the liver, and post traumatic headaches and back pain.
